In detail
The stone
Obsidian is volcanic glass: lava that cooled too quickly to crystallize. Vanakat quarries it on Mount Arteni, in Armenia's Aragatsotn region. Every block is figured differently, so your piece will differ slightly from the one photographed.
Care
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Empty ash once cool. Obsidian is glass: avoid knocks against hard surfaces and sudden changes of temperature. Full care notes
